उत्तर : सांसारिक मोह में फंसे लोंगो को देखकर मीरा रोती है। मीरा देखती है कि,संसार के लोग मोह में लिप्त हैं और उनका जीवन व्यर्थ जा रहा है। लोग अपने अनमोल जीवन को व्यर्थ की चीज़ों में गवा रहे हैं। मीरा सांसारिक सुख और दुख को बेकार मानती है। वह यह देखकर रोती है कि, पूरी दुनिया सांसारिक सुख और दुख को सच मानती है, और सांसारिक अथवा पारिवारिक बंधनों में फस कर, वास्तविक्ता से दूर होती जा रही है।

12. कृष्ण के किस रूप कि मीरा भक्ति करती है ?

उत्तर : मीरा के ससुराल वाले मीरा को इसलिए जहर दे देते हैं क्योंकि, उन्हें लोक लाज की चिंता होती है, और मीरा लोक लाज की सारी सीमाएं लांघ कर, बिना किसी डर के कृष्ण कि भक्ति अपने पति परमेश्वर के रूप में करती है। ससुराल द्वारा दिए गए विष का उनपर कोई असर नहीं होता है। वह बिल्कुल स्वस्थ रहती है, जिससे सभी आश्चर्य चकित रह जाते हैं। मीरा राज परिवार की बहू थी। उनके पति और ससुराल वाले उनकी कृष्ण की भक्ति को मर्यादा और लाज के नाम पर कलंक के रूप में देखते हैं। मीरा किसी को ज़रा सा भी नही भाती थी। इसी कारण मीरा के पति राणा ने उनके पास विष का प्याला भेजा जिसको मीरा ने हँसते-हँसते पी लिया।

उत्तर : पति द्वारा भेजे विष के प्याले को पीने के बाद भी उनपर कोई असर इसलिए नही होता है क्योंकि वह कृष्ण कि भक्ति में लीन रहती हैं। व्यर्थ की सांसारिकता और मोह-माया में फंसे नादान और मुर्ख प्राणी ये भी नहीं समझते की मीरा कृष्णा भक्ति में पूर्णतया लीन है। वह खुद को पूर्ण रूप से समर्पित कर चुकी है। किसी विष का उनपे कोई असर नहीं होता है। मीरा की कृष्ण भक्ति के कारण उनके पति राणा उनके लिए विष का प्याला भेजते हैं जिसे मीरा ख़ुशी ख़ुशी पी लेती है। उस विष का उन पर कोई असर नहीं होता है। यह संसार यह बात नहीं समझ सकता कि, प्रभु भक्ति में लीन व्यक्ति का समाज कोई नुकसान नहीं कर सकता, और मीरा तो पूरे मन से श्री कृष्ण की हो चुकी थी।।
