उत्तर: कवि कहते है कविता कालजयी होती है। कविता आनंद प्रदान करती है, यदि इसके निर्माण में सौन्दर्य, रस तथा भाव का किया जाए तो कविता का आनंद बहुत ही आत्मीय तथा अधिक समय तक रहता है।

12. उमाशंकर जोशी का संक्षिप्त जीवन परिचय दीजिए।

उत्तर: श्री उमाशंकर जोशी का जन्म 12 जुलाई 1911 को गुजरात में हुआ।जोशी जी में देश प्रेम की भावना कूट-कूट कर भरी हुई थी भारत की आजादी की लड़ाई से उनका गहरा रिश्ता रहा है।इनकी प्रमुख रचनाएँ विश्वशांति, गंगोत्री, निशीथ, गुलेपोलांड, प्राचीना, आतिथ्य और वसंत वर्ष, महाप्रस्थान, अभिज्ञा, सापनाभरा आदि है।सन 1968 में जोशी जी गुजराती साहित्य परिषद के अध्यक्ष बने 1978 से 1982 तक वे साहित्य अकादमी के अध्यक्ष रहे। सन् 1970 में वे गुजरात विश्वविद्यालय के उप कुलपति बने। सन 1967 में उन्हें गुजराती साहित्य के लिए भारतीय ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ और सन 1973 में सोवियत लैंड नेहरू पुरस्कार प्राप्त हुआ।

उत्तर: कवि आकाश में छाए काले-काले बादलों में पंक्ति बनाकर उड़ते हुए बगुलों के सुंदर-सुंदर पंखों को देखता है। वह कहता है कि मैं आकाश में पंक्तिबद्ध बगुलों को उड़ते हुए एकटक देखता रहता हूँ। यह दृश्य मेरी आँखों को चुरा ले जाता है। काले-काले बादलों की छाया नभ पर छाई हुई है। सायंकाल चमकीली सफेद काया उन पर तैरती हुई प्रतीत होती है। यह दृश्य इतना आकर्षक है कि अपने जादू से यह मुझे धीरे-धीरे बाँध रहा है। मैं उसमें खोता जा रहा हूँ। कवि आहवान करता है कि इस आकर्षक दृश्य के प्रभाव को कोई रोके। वह इस दृश्य के प्रभाव से बचना चाहता है, परंतु यह दृश्य तो कवि की आँखों को चुराकर ले जा रहा है। आकाश में उड़तें पंक्तिबद्ध बगुलों के पंखों में कवि की आँखें अटककर रह जाती हैं।

16. कविता “बगुला के पंख” का सारांश लखिए।

उत्तर: यह कविता सुंदर दृश्य बिंबयुक्त कविता है जो प्रकृति के सुंदर दृश्यों को हमारी आँखों के सामने सजीव रूप में प्रस्तुत करती है। सौंदर्य का अपेक्षित प्रभाव उत्पन्न करने के लिए कवियों ने कई युक्तियाँ अपनाई हैं जिनमें से सर्वाधिक प्रचलित युक्ति है-सौंदर्य के ब्यौरों के चित्रात्मक वर्णन के साथ अपने मन पर पड़ने वाले उसके प्रभाव का वर्णन। कवि काले बादलों से भरे आकाश में पंक्ति बनाकर उड़ते सफेद बगुलों को देखता है। वे कजरारे बादलों के ऊपर तैरती साँझ की श्वेत काया के समान प्रतीत होते हैं। इस नयनाभिराम दृश्य में कवि सब कुछ भूलकर उसमें खो जाता है। वह इस माया से अपने को बचाने की गुहार लगाता है, लेकिन वह स्वयं को इससे बचा नहीं पाता।

उत्तर: इस कविता में कवि ने खेती के रूप में कवि-कर्म के हर चरण को बाँधने की कोशिश की है। कवि को कागज का पन्ना एक चौकोर खेत की तरह लगता है। इस खेत में किसी अंधड़ अर्थात भावनात्मक आँधी के प्रभाव से किसी क्षण एक बीज बोया जाता है। यह बीज रचना, विचार और अभिव्यक्ति का हो सकता है। यह कल्पना का सहारा लेकर विकसित होता है और इस प्रक्रिया में स्वयं गल जाता है। उससे शब्दों के अंकुर निकलते हैं और अंतत: कृति एक पूर्ण स्वरूप ग्रहण करती है जो कृषि-कर्म के लिहाज से पुष्पितपल्लवित होने की स्थिति है। साहित्यिक कृति से जो अलौकिक रस-धारा फूटती है, वह क्षण में होने वाली रोपाई का ही परिणाम है। पर यह रस-धारा अनंत काल तक चलने वाली कटाई से कम नहीं होती। खेत में पैदा होने वाला अन्न कुछ समय के बाद समाप्त हो जाता है, किंतु साहित्य का रस कभी समाप्त नहीं होता।
