उत्तर: मुगलो का भारत में आगमन हुआ तो साथ ही साथ वह उर्दू को भी लेकर आए अंग्रेजों के काल में आजादी पाने के लिए एक ऐसी भाषा के पुनरुत्थान की आवश्यकता हुई जो आम लोगों की जन भाषा बन सके| प्रथम भारतेंदु जी ने खड़ी बोली में लिखना आरंभ किया तब के समय में सभी लोग उर्दू के साथ हिंदी का भी प्रयोग निश्चित रूप में करते थे हालांकि हिंदी और उर्दू दो अलग-अलग भाषा है, हिंदी का जन्म भारत में ही हुआ परंतु उर्दू बाहरी भाषा है जो हिंदी में मिश्रित हो गई|

उत्तर: लेखक रामचंद्र के पिताजी का तबादला मिर्जापुर के बाहर के नगर में हुआ था| एक दिन भारतेंदु हरिश्चंद्र के घनिष्ठ मित्र उपाध्याय बद्रीनारायण चौधरी बगल में रहते हैं,जो प्रेमघन उपनाम से उपन्यास लिखते हैं| रामचंद्र उनके संस्मरण में बताते हुए कहते हैं कि उनसे मिलने के लिए उत्सुक और अपने मित्रों की मंडली के साथ एक डेढ़ मील चलकर उनके घर के नीचे जा खड़े हुए उन्होंने ऐसे बालकों का समूह खोज लिया था,जो उनके घर से तथा प्रेमघन से अच्छी तरह से परिचित थे| वह चौधरी के बारे में लिखते हुए बताते हैं कि उनके घर के ऊपरी बालकनी लताओं से सुसज्जित और सजाई हुई थी उनके बाल कंधो तक लटकते रहते थे जब तक लेखक एक झलक लेते तब तक वे अंदर चले गए|

17. लेखक ने निस्संदेह शब्द के संदर्भ में क्या कहा है?

उत्तर: निस्संदेह शब्द के स्मृति में लेखक ने अपने बचपन की एक घटना का जिक्र किया है, वह कहती हैं कि उनका घर जिस मोहल्ले में था वहां मुख्तार, कचहरी के अवसर या कर्मचारी तथा वकील होने के कारण उर्दू का प्रयोग अधिक हुआ करता था| लेकिन जब उनका जुड़ाव हिंदी प्रेमी मंडली से हुआ तो हिंदी प्रेमी प्राय लिखने बोलने के लिए हिंदी भाषा का उपयोग किया करते थे| यह मंडली बातचीत करते वक्त अक्सर निस्संदेह शब्द का प्रयोग अधिक किया करती थी|जबकि मोहल्ले के लोग जो उर्दू और उसके लफ्जों से ज्यादा प्यार करते थे वह उपयोग करते थे उनको लेखक तथा उसके मंडली द्वारा हिंदी बोलना अजीब लगता था| इन लोगों ने लेखक और उनके मित्र मंडली का नाम रखने निसंदेह दिया था|

18. रामचंद्र शुक्ल का जीवन परिचय लिखिए?

उत्तर: रामचंद्र शुक्ल का जन्म 4 अक्टूबर सन 1884 मैं उत्तर प्रदेश जिले के अगोना नामक गांव में हुआ था| मुझे अपने पिता के साथ राठ हमीरपुर गए तथा वहीं पर विद्या अध्ययन किया| रामचंद्र जी के पिता ने शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में उर्दू और अंग्रेजी पढ़ने के लिए उन पर जोर दिया एक तरफ हिन्दी भी पढ़ते रहे| सन् 1901 ई में उन्होंने मिशन स्कूल से स्कूल फाइनल की परीक्षा उत्तर इन की तथा प्रयाग के कायस्थ पाठशाला इंटर कॉलेज में एफ. ए पढ़ने के लिए आए| मिर्जापुर के बद्रीनारायण चौधरी प्रेमघन के संपर्क में आकर उनके हिंदी के प्रति लगाव को और बल मिला| सन् 1909 से 1910 ई के लगभग वे 'हिन्दी शब्द सागर’के संपादन मैं टेक्निक सहायक के रूप में काशी आ गए उन्होंने नागरी प्रचारिणी पत्रिका का संपादन भी कुछ दिनों तक किया 1937 काशी हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय के हिंदी विभागाध्यक्ष नियुक्त हुए|

19. लेखक और केदारनाथ जी के मित्रता के बारे में बताइए? ?

उत्तर: लेखक पिताजी के कहने पर किसी बरात में काशी है वहां घूमते हुए उनकी मुलाकात पंडित केदारनाथ जी से चौखंभा स्थान पर हुई| केदारनाथ जी भारतेंदु हरिश्चंद्र के मित्र थे| रामचंद्र शुक्ल खुद भारतेंदु जी के प्रशंसक थे| पंडित जी से उनके संबंध और विषय में जानकर पर भारतेंदु जी के घर को बड़ी चाह से देख रहे थे| केदारनाथ जी रामचंद्र शुक्ल को भावनाओं में डूबा देख बहुत प्रसन्न हुए उन्होंने लेखक की इस भावुकता ने बहुत प्रभावित किया है| समय गुजरने के साथ आगे चलकर दोनों का यह हृदय परिचित मित्रता में बदल गया लेखक का जो व्यवहार पंडित जी ने देखा वहीं उन्हें छू गया आगे चलकर इसी कारण वे गहरे मित्र बन गए|

उत्तर: लेखक के पिता ने लेखक को बचपन में ही साहित्य से परिचित करा दिया था| रामचंद्र के पिता का ज्ञाता और हिंदी प्रेमी के घर भारतेंदु हरिश्चंद्र द्वारा रचित हिंदी नाटकों का वाचन हुआ करता था| लेखक को भारतेंदु लिखित नाटक अवश्य करते थे पहले व्यक्ति थे, जिन्होंने लेखक के अंदर हिंदी साहित्य के प्रति स्नेह पंडित जी ने खुद किया| आगे चलकर पंडित केदारनाथ जी ने बाकी कसर पूरी कर दी| मुझे अपनी पुस्तकालय जिसमें हिंदी की ढेर सारी पुस्तकें थी,लेखक को पढ़ने दिया करते थे| लेखक प्राय: पुस्तकालय से पुस्तक लेकर अपने घर जाता था| हिंदी पुस्तकों और लेखकों के प्रति आदर भाव देखकर केदारनाथ की बहुत प्रभावित हुए| इन्हीं सब कारणों से लेकर 16 वर्ष की उम्र में ही हिंदी प्रेमियों की मंडली से परिचित हो गया| इस मंडली के सभी लोग हिंदी जगत में महत्वपूर्ण स्थान रखते थे| मंडली का समय पर ना लेखक के लिए बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण रहा हिंदी साहित्य के क्षेत्र में|
