1. “यह साठ लाख लोगों की तरफ से बोलने वाली एक आवाज है। एक ऐसी आवाज, जो किसी सत्या कभी की नहीं, बल्कि एक साधारण लड़की की है।” इलया इहरनबुर्ग की इस टिप्पणी के संदर्भ में ऐन फ्रैंक की डायरी के पठित अंशों पर विचार करें।

उत्तर: ऐन फ्रैंक की डायरी में ऐन ने द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध के समय यहूदी परिवारों पर हुए अकल्पनीय यातनाओं का वर्णन किया है इसलिए निस्संदेह डायरी एक ऐतिहासिक दौर का जीवंत दस्तावेज है लेकिन साथ ही यह एनके निजी सुख दुख और भावनात्मक उथल पुथल का भी जीवंत दस्तावेज भी है। ऐन वर्ष की बच्ची थी। हिटलर के नस्लवाद के प्रति विरोध का इन्हें भी शिकार बनना पड़ा था हिटलर पूरे विश्व से यहूदियों को मिटा देना चाहता था और उनपर अपमानजनक नियम कानून थोपता रहता था। हिटलर के डर से यहूदी छिपते फिरते थे वह अंधेरों कमरों में जीवन जीने के लिए विवश थे। पकड़े जाने पर उन्हें यातनाएं दी जाती थी। वह हमेशा नाज़ी फौज के डर की वजह से खौफ में रहते थे। प्राप्त दस्तावेजों के आधार पर देखा जाए तो हिटलर ने साठ लाख यहूदियों का नरसंहार किया। यह अबतक का सबसे बड़ा नरसंहार है।ऐन फ्रैंक ऐसी ही यहूदी परिवार से थीं वह कोई सत्य कभी नहीं थी वह एक साधारण बच्ची थी। उसे हिटलर के डर से उसको 2 साल तक छिप कर रहना पड़ा। उसकी डायरी में हिटलर का भय,। उसका आतंक इस डायरी को पढ़कर पता चलता है वह अनजाने में ऐसे हजारों लोगों का प्रतिनिधित्व कर लगती है, जो उसी के समान यात्रा को झेल रहे हैं। इसलिए इल्याइहरनबुर्ग की यह टिप्पणी की ये हैं “यह साठ लाख लोगों की तरफ से बोलने वाली एक आवाज है। एक ऐसी आवाज जो किसी संख्या कभी नहीं, बल्कि एक साधारण से लड़की की है।”

2. “काश कोई तो होता जो मेरी भावनाओं को गंभीरता से समझ पाता। अफसोस, ऐसा व्यक्ति मुझे अब तक नहीं मिला……।” क्या आपको लगता है कि ऐन के इस कथन में उसकी डायरी लेखन का कारण छिपा है?

उत्तर: उपरोक्त पंक्तियों में, न और उसकी डायरी के बीच संबंध पूरी तरह से स्पष्ट होता है। उसके यह कहने से स्पष्ट है कि उसके पास पास कोई भी ऐसा नहीं था जो उसकी भावनाओं को गंभीरता से समझे। इसलिए उसने अपने दिल की बातों को डायरी के साथ साझा करने के बारे में सोचा।ऐन एक साधारण लड़की थी। उन्होंने अपनी पढ़ाई सामान्य तरीके से की, लेकिन उसे सबसे कठोर माना जाता था। उसे हर समय डांट सुनना पड़ता था। वे एक जगह भी लिखती हैं कि “हर समय, इच्छाएं, विचार, इरादे और डांट का डर मेरे दिमाग में बना रहता था। मैं वास्तव में उतना घमंडी नहीं हूँ जितना लोग मेरे बारे में सोचते हैं मैं अपनी कमजोरियों और खामियों को अच्छी तरह जानती हूँ।” लोग मुझे इतना अखंड और तीस मार खान की मानते हैं वे लिखती है “कोई मुझे नहीं समझता” इस प्रकार ऐन की टिप्पणियों से पता चलता है कि न को समझने वाला कोई भी नहीं था जो उसके अकेलापन का सबसे बड़ा कारण बन गया।

3. ‘प्रकृति – प्रद प्रजनन – शक्ति के उपयोग का अधिकार बच्चे पैदा करें या ना करें अथवा कितने बच्चे पैदा करें – इस की स्वतंत्रता स्त्री से छीन कर हमारी विश्व-व्यवस्था ने न सिर्फ़ स्त्री को व्यक्तित्व विकास के अनेक अवसरों से वंचित किया है बल्कि जनांधिक्य की समस्या भी पैदा की है।’ ऐन की डायरी के 13 जून, 1944 के अंश में व्यक्त विचारो के संदर्भ में इस कथन का औचित्य ढूँढ़े।

उतर: ऐन ने अपनी डायरी के पन्नो में औरतों के अधिकार और उन पर हो रहे शोषण के बारे में भी अपनी चिंता व्यक्त की है ऐन कहती है इस समाज में औरतों को उनके हिस्से का सम्मान नही मिल पाता है । इस पुरुष प्रधान समाज में पुरुषों ने औरतों पर शुरू से ही इस बात पर शासन करना शुरू कर दिया कि वह उनकी तुलना में शारीरिक रूप से अधिक बलवान और हर कार्य करने के लिए सक्षम हैं, किसी घर को चलाने में पुरुष का ही पूरा योगदान रहता है पुरुष मेहनत कर के धन कमाता है और परिवार व बच्चों को पालता-पोसता है पुरुष घर में अपनी और अपनी मनमर्ज़ी चलाता है। लेकिन आज के समाज में इस स्तिथि में परिवर्तन होआ है। आज औरतों को बराबर का हक प्रदान किया जा रहा है शिक्षा, काम तथा प्रगति ने औरतों की आँख खोली हैं। औरत मानव जाति को जीवंत रखने के लिए असहाय पीड़ा से गुजरती है समाज को बढ़ाने में उनका जितना संघर्ष रहता है उतना संघर्ष तो सेनिक भी नहीं करता है।ऐन ने यह कभी नही कहा है की औरतों को बच्चे को जन्म देना बंद कर देना चाहिए, क्यूँकि यह एक प्रकृति का नियम है और समाज से गुज़ारिश है कि वह औरतों को केवल एक प्रक्रिया वस्तु ना समझे अपितु औरतों के इस योगदान की सरहाना करनी चाहिए ।

4. “ऐन की डायरी अगर एक ऐतिहासिक दौर का जीवंत दस्तावेज़ है, तो साथ ही उसकी निजी सुख दुःख और भावनात्मक उथल पुथल का भी । इन पृष्ठों में दोनो का फ़र्क़ मिट गया है।” इस कथन पर विचार करते हुए अपनी सहमति या असहमती तर्कपूर्वक व्यक्त करें।

उत्तर: ऐन एक यहूदी लड़की थी उसने जब होश संभाला वह दौर था जब हिट्लर की सेना यहूदीयोपर अत्याचार बरसा रही थी । उनकी यातनाओं के साथ साथ कहीं न कहीं ऐन का आंतरिक मन भी था। उस समय वह यहूदी कैंपों में रहती थी। यहूदी हमेशा हिट्लर की नाज़ी सेना से छूपकर इधर उधर भागते और छिपते रहते थे। ऐन को भी छिप कर रहना पड़ता रहा जिससे इसकी भावनावों को पीड़ा पहुंचती थीं जिसका व्यक्तिगत रूप से उसके पूरे जीवन पर प्रभाव पड़ता था और समानांतर रास्ते पर ऐन की भावनात्मक पीड़ा चल रही है और यही वजह है की दोनो तड़प और वेदना एक दूसरे में समाकर एक सामान्य पीड़ा बन गई है और इसलिए दोनो पृष्ठों में भेद ही नहीं बचा। ऐन की इस डायरी में उस समय की राजनीतिक स्तिथि एवम युध की विभीषिका का जीवंत वर्णन मिलता है लेकिन साथ ही यह ऐन के निजी सुख दुःख और भावनात्मक उथल पुथल का भी जीवंत दस्तावेज़ है।

5. ऐन ने अपनी डायरी “किट्टी” (एक निर्जीव गुड़िया) को संबोधित चिट्ठी की शक्ल में लिखने की ज़रूरत क्यों महसूस की होगी?

उत्तर: जब इन्सान अकेला होता है तो उसके मन में अनेक कल्पनाओं का जन्म होता है और उसकी आवश्यकता ही आविष्कार की जननी होती है जब ऐन निर्वासन में थी तब उससे बात करने और उसकी भावनाओं को समझने वाला कोई नहीं था और वह बड़ों की बात सुनकर ऊब चुकी थी। इस मामले में, ऐन एक निर्जीव गुड़िया को अपना काल्पनिक दोस्त बनाती है और उसे सम्बोधन और संवाद करती है और एक डायरी के माध्यम से अपने अनुभवों और भावनाओं को व्यक्त करती है।

Chapter 4: Diary Ke Panne, Written by Anne Frank

This chapter is an excerpt taken from 'The Diary of a Young Girl'. The author wrote this diary when she, along with her family, was struggling for two years to save themselves from the dictatorship of Nazis.

On her 13th birthday in 1972, she was gifted with a white and red cloth book. She had decided that she would make this notebook her diary. When she had started writing in this diary, by addressing it as kitty, they were not in hiding. Their life in the secret annex began a month later. She wrote the last part in August 1949, 3 days after which the police caught them.

This diary portrays the life of common people during one of the most terror-stricken and painful World Wars in history. In the Hindi translation of this book, it is adequately written - "This diary depicts the fear, terror, hunger, love, human emotions, love, hatred, troubles of growing up, fear of airstrikes, the constant fear of being caught, the dreams, fantasies, anguish of being isolated from the outside world of a thirteen-year-old, the mental and physical needs, laughter, jokes, loneliness of the people in hiding. This diary is a living document of the oppressed Jews".
