Ans: Both parents in my family take decisions.


5. Nandu did things that he liked to do. If you could spend a whole day with your friends, what would you do?

Ans: If I get a chance to spend a whole day with my friends, then I would play sports like cricket and football with them. We will together decorate the Christmas tree and sing Christmas carols. After playing, we will study also.


6. Find out and write, which other animals live in herds.

Ans: Buffalo, deer, and sheep live in herds.


7. Do you also live in a group? Do you like to live together like that? Why would you like or not like to live in a group?

Ans: Yes, I live in a group. I live with my grandmother, grandfather, mother, father, and brother. Yes, I like to live together with them. Following are the good and bad points of living in a group.

Ans: When elephants are put in chains, they feel humiliated and trapped.


9. Have you ever taken a ride on an elephant? How did it feel?

Ans: Yes, I've been on an elephant ride. It was a thrilling adventure. When it was standing after this, I felt like I was about to fall, but I appreciated the trip.


10. Which animals have you sat on? Write their names.

Ans: I have sat on horse, buffalo, camel, and elephant


11. You must have seen many animals around you – in books, in movies. Some may be alone, some in groups. Find out more about any one of these animals and write about it.

Ans: I've seen a lot of animals in my life, as well as in movies and novels. Camels are one of these animals. Camel is a desert creature. It has a hump on its back and can survive for a long period without water.


12. Why do you think the egret is sitting on the buffalo?

Ans: The egret is sitting on the buffalo to eat parasites present on the skin of the buffalo.


13. Have you seen any animal riding on another animal? Write its name.

a. The animal which is riding.

a. Yes, I've read what these creatures have to say. Some of them are depressed because humans are meddling with their natural habitat and exploiting it for personal gain. Snake charmers utilize snakes to generate money, people make monkeys dance even when they aren't fed to make money, people attach horseshoes to horses' hooves, and bears are rigorously trained to perform in circuses.

b. All animals love to live freely in their natural habitat. The monkeys that dance to entertain people are sad as they are living in a cage, not able to enjoy their natural habitat. While the monkeys that are free, enjoy the freedom of living in their natural habitat.
