What is the Central Vista Project?

New Parliament Building Construction
The new Parliament building construction was proposed to be designed like a triangular building. The new Parliament House comes just beside the existing structure with around 694,000 sq ft area. Common Central Secretariat
As the new Parliament building will be triangular, the common central Secretariat will be like ten sets of donuts shaped with four plots. The new Secretariat house will have about 51 ministries whereas the old one has only 22 ministries. The Secretariat building will appear on both sides of Rajpath. These secretariat buildings will have seven floors. But all the buildings will be constructed less than the height of the India gate. The central conference Center will come in place of Vigyan Bhavan. Besides the Central conference centre, the National Archives was also built.
Residential Complex

In the Central Vista project plan, the Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts building was completely relocated to Jamnagar from Mansingh Road. A 15-acre area was selected to construct the Indira Gandhi National Center for arts. Only the location has been changed, but roles and responsibilities remain the same.
