1. Is the NEET application form 2026 released?
The NEET UG 2026 application form was released on February 8, 2026, and the registration process closed on March 11, 2026. Since the original exam has been cancelled, no fresh registration is required for the Re-NEET 2026 examination scheduled on June 21, 2026. All previously registered candidates will be automatically considered for the re-examination.
2. When is the Re-NEET 2026 exam date?
The Re-NEET 2026 exam date has been officially confirmed by NTA as June 21, 2026 (Sunday). The exam will be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM (IST) in Pen & Paper (Offline) mode across cities in India and abroad in 13 languages.
3. How is NEET 2026 going to be?
The Re-NEET 2026 exam will follow the same pattern as the original NEET UG 2026 examination. It will be conducted in offline Pen & Paper mode with 180 questions carrying 720 marks — 45 questions each from Physics and Chemistry, and 90 questions from Biology. The syllabus, marking scheme, and exam guidelines remain unchanged.
4. How long is the NEET score valid?
The NEET UG score is valid for one year from the date of result declaration. Candidates can use their NEET 2026 scorecard for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and allied medical courses during the 2026 academic session only.
5. Can the applicant alter their preferred language for NEET 2026?
As per the official NTA notice, no correction in particulars will be allowed for Re-NEET 2026 except for the present address and choice of exam city. Therefore, candidates cannot change their preferred language for the Re-NEET 2026 examination.
6. What will be the NEET UG 2026 application fees for Re-NEET?
As per the official NTA Public Notice dated May 15, 2026, no fee will be charged from candidates for the Re-NEET 2026 examination scheduled on June 21, 2026.
7. If a candidate withdraws their NEET 2026 application, would they receive a refund?
No, the NEET application form cannot be withdrawn once submitted, and the application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
8. Will the original NEET 2026 registration fee be refunded?
NTA has confirmed that the fees already paid by students for the original NEET UG 2026 examination will be refunded.
