Hint: Place the solution of vinegar and lemon juice in a container. Add electrodes to the solution. Make a complete circuit. Add a battery to the circuit. And then add a bulb. And when we switch on the battery and bulb lights. Hence they are good conductors of electricity.
Complete step by step answer:
First of all we will talk about conductor of electricity
Conductor of electricity: Those compounds which allow electricity to pass through them are known as conductor of electricity. For a compound or solution to be a conductor of electricity it should have free electrons or ions to carry the electricity. Because electrons or ions are the charge carrier of the electricity.
Electrodes: They are the electric conductor that carries electric current into the non-metallic solids. They are of two types: positive and negative.
To check whether vinegar and lemon juice are conductors of electricity let’s perform an activity.
Take a container and pour lemon juice in it. Then connect the positive and negative electrode to the beaker. Add a power supply to the electrodes. And connect a bulb. Now heat the solution and turn on the power supply. If the bulb is lit then it indicates that the solution is a conductor of electricity. In this experiment we will see that the bulb will lighted up. So we can say that lemon juice is the conductor of electricity. Perform the same activity with vinegar you will get the same result. Hence both the lemon juice and vinegar are conductors of electricity. They are conductors of electricity because they are acidic in nature. So on ionization they release ${H^ + }$ which act as a charge carrier for the solution.
Note:
Acid rain is also a good conductor of electricity. As acid rain has ions through which it can conduct electricity through it. In fact, acid rain is a better conductor of electricity than lemon juice and vinegar.
