Indian Army B.Sc Nursing 2023 - Eligibility Criteria

Here is a list of eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled by the aspirants if they aim to get admission to the Indian Army B.Sc Nursing 2023 

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

  • Only female candidates can apply without any restrictions on their marital status. 

  • The candidates must be born between October 1, 1995, to September 30, 2003, as per their class 10 certificate. 

  • Education Qualification: the following are the criteria that need to be fulfilled by the aspirants to qualify:
    1. Nursing aspirants must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt from a Recognized board/Statutory/University/Examination body with physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany+Zoology) and English as subjects.
    2. They must be a regular student with an aggregate of 50%
    3. students who are appearing for their class 12 are also eligible to apply for Indian Army B.Sc Nursing.

  • Medical Fitness: the candidates will have a medical examination which is mandatory for everyone. This will be done according to the Armed Forces standard. It includes X-Ray of the Chest and USG (of abdomen and pelvis). Also, the minimum height is 152 cm. Only aspirants who are Gorkhas, North Eastern region, Garhwal and Kumaon candidates will be accepted with a minimum height of 148 cm.

Candidates must remember that they will have to furnish all the related documents prior to the admissions process. 


Indian Army B.Sc Nursing 2023 - Application Form

To fill the application form of Indian Army B.Sc Nursing 2023 candidates need to follow the steps given below

  • Step 1. Registration - aspirants need to register by filling in their basic details. This includes their name, mother’s name, father's name, date of birth, mail ID, mobile number, etc.

  • Step 2. OTP verification - once the above step is completed, an OTP will be sent to the registered mail id as well as mobile number. Candidates are required to verify this OTP by entering the same. 

  • Step 3. Filling the application form - aspirants will then have to log in with their mail ID and password created at the time of registration. They must then fill the remaining parts of the application form according to the given instructions.

  • Step 4. Uploading of photo and signature - Nursing candidates must upload their scanned photo and signature. This photo and signature must abide by the specifications laid down by the authorities.

  • Step 5. Payment of application fee - the next step for the candidates is to pay the application fee for the examination. The amount is a standard RS. 750/- only irrespective of their category. Once the payment is successful, a DU number will be generated. candidates must keep this number safely with them.

  • Step 6. Choosing the exam centre - Here the candidates will have to choose the exam centres based on their convenience and priority. Exam centres will be allotted to aspirants on a first come first serve basis

Candidates who qualify the entrance examination of Indian Army B.Sc Nursing 2023 will be invited for a personal interview and medical examination by the authorities. These are the steps that will be followed: 

  • Qualified candidates will receive an interview call letter on their registered mail IDs. they are instructed to report to the assigned venue with a printout of the call letter.

  • Candidates are required to stay in the hospital for more than one day, for the medical examination. Although the entire process will be taken care of by the authorities, candidates are advised to take their personal cash as well.  

  • After that, candidates will have to choose the college of their preference.
