The rest of the chapters like thermodynamics, surface chemistry, nuclear chemistry, atomic structure, mole concept, and ionic equilibrium contain 1 question each in the examination. 

 

Weightage of Chapters from Inorganic Chemistry in NEET Examination

5 questions are generally asked from chemical bonding and 3 questions from p-block elements. Other chapters like s-block, d-block, and f-block elements, metallurgy, and coordination chemistry have two questions each and in the case of environmental chemistry, 1 question is asked in the examination.

 

Weightage of chapters from Organic Chemistry in NEET Examination

In the case of organic chemistry, 4 questions are asked from hydrocarbons 3 questions from carbonyl compounds, and 2 questions from amines, haloalkanes, and haloarenes are asked in the question paper. The minimum number of questions are asked from topics like basic principles and techniques of organic chemistry, alcohol, phenol and ether, biomolecules, chemistry in everyday life, and polymers.
