What is the JEE Main 2027 Application Form?

The JEE Main 2027 application form is the online form candidates must complete to register for the exam. NTA conducts JEE Main 2027 for admission-related purposes for undergraduate programmes including B.E./B.Tech., B.Arch. and B.Planning. Paper 1 also serves as the eligibility test for JEE Advanced.

Who is Eligible to Apply for JEE Main 2027?

Before filling out the JEE Main 2027 application form, candidates should check the eligibility requirements prescribed by NTA and the admission requirements of the programme or institute they wish to join.

• Qualifying Examination: Candidates should meet the Class 12 or equivalent qualifying examination requirements specified by NTA for JEE Main 2027.

How to Fill the JEE Main Application Form 2027?

Candidates can complete the JEE application form online by following the steps below.

Step 1: Start the JEE Main Application Process

Visit the official JEE Main website and begin the online registration process.

Candidates need to provide the required personal details and create a password. After successful registration, NTA generates an Application Number, which you need to complete the application and for future correspondence.

The same Application Number is used for both JEE Main 2027 sessions.

Step 2: Fill in Personal and Academic Details

Log in using the generated Application Number and password.

Enter the required information, including:

• Candidate's name

• Date of birth

• Gender

• Category

JEE Main 2027 Application Form Fees

Candidates must pay the applicable JEE Main 2027 examination fee online while submitting the application form. The final amount depends on the candidate's category, selected paper or paper combination and other applicable conditions.

For candidates submitting the application during the late-fee period, NTA has specified an additional ₹500 late fee. The late application window for Session 1 is from 23 November to 26 November 2026, and the final successful fee transaction must be completed by 11:50 PM on 26 November 2026.

JEE Main 2027 Application Form: Important Instructions

Candidates should keep these points in mind while filling out the JEE Main form 2027:

JEE Main 2027 Correction Window

• NTA will provide a JEE Main application form correction window after the application period.

• For Session 1, the correction window is scheduled for 27–29 November 2026, up to 11:50 PM.

• For Session 2, the correction window is scheduled for 8–10 February 2027, up to 11:50 PM.

Only the fields enabled by NTA for correction can be modified during the correction period. Candidates should therefore review the application carefully before submitting it.

JEE Main 2027 Application Form: Session 1 and Session 2

JEE Main 2027 will be conducted in two sessions.

JEE Main Session 1

Session 1 will be conducted in January 2027. Candidates can submit the application form from 24 October to 22 November 2026.

JEE Main Session 2

Session 2 will be conducted in April 2027. The application window is scheduled from 5 January to 3 February 2027.

JEE Main 2027 Exam Pattern
