सुनीता की पहहया कुसी
एक विकलांग लड़की जिसका नाम सुनीता है । सुनीता सुबह सात बजे उठी थी और वह पहली बार अकेले बाजार जाने वाली थी ।
उसने अपनी टांगों को अपने हाथों से पकड़कर पलंग से नीचे लटकाया और पहिया कुर्सी की मदद ली ।
उसे बाजार जाना था इसलिए वह अपना काम फुर्ती से निपटाना चाहती थी |
आठ बजे तक सुनीता तैयार हो गई । उसने अपना नाश्ता किया और माँ से झोला और रुपए लेकर पहिया कुर्सी मे बैठकर बाजार की तरफ चली गई ।
आज छुट्टी का दिन था इसलिए हर जगह बच्चे खेल रहे थे |
सुनीता ने थोड़ी देर रुककर बच्चों को रस्सी कूदते और गेंद खेलते देखा। उसका भी मन उन सभी के साथ खेलने का हुआ लेकिन वह उदास हो गई ।
खेल के मैदान उसने एक लड़की को देखा जिसे उसकी माँ वापिस लेने के लिए आई थी । इसके बाद उसे एक लड़का दिखाई दिया जो कद मे छोटा था । सारे बच्चे छोटू कहकर चिढ़ा रहे थे | सुनीता को यह सब बिल्कुल अच्छा नहीं लगा।
रास्ते में कई लोग सुनीता को देखकर मुस्कुराए फिर एक छोटी सी लड़की ने सुनीता से आकर पूछ कि यह अजीब सी चीज क्या है ? लेकिन उस लड़की की माँ ने उसे सुनीता से दूर हटा लिया|
सुनीता दुखी हुई और कहा कि मैं दूसरे बच्चों से अलग नहीं हूँ ।
इसके बाद सुनीता बाजार पहुँची लेकिन दुकान में घुसने के लिए उसे सीढ़ियों पर चढ़ना था जो उसके लिए बहुत मुश्किल था ।
किसी ने उसकी ओर ध्यान नहीं दिया । अचानक एक अमित नाम का लड़का उसके सामने आकर खड़ा हो गया और उसकी मदद की ।
सुनीता ने अमित को धन्यवाद दिया ।
इसके बाद उसने एक किलो चीनी माँगी | दुकानदार ने जल्दी में चीनी की थैली सुनीता की गोद में डाल दी | इससे सुनीता गुस्सा हो गई।
दुकान के बाहर आकर अमित ने सुनीता से उसकी पहिया कुर्सी के बारे मे पूछा ।
सुनीता ने जवाब दिया कि वह पैरों से चल नहीं सकती और इस पहिया कुर्सी से ही घूम फिर सकती है ।
अमित ने कहा कि हम दोनों ही बाकी लोगों से कुछ अलग हैं । तुम पहिया कुर्सी पर बैठकर चलती हो और मेरा कद छोटा है।
इसके बाद सुनीता अपनी पहिया कुर्सी आगे खिसकाती हुई चली गई | अमित भी उसके साथ-साथ चलने लगा ।
लोग अभी भी उन दोनों को घूर रहे थे लेकिन सुनीता उनकी परवाह किए बिना आगे चलती गई ।
