Hint: When we talk about sound pollution, what exactly do we mean? It can be defined as unwanted noise which has a range of negative impacts on animal and human life. This also affects wildlife adversely by causing stress.

Complete answer:
When discussing poise or sound pollution, it doesn’t matter whether it is sounds that we enjoy or a distracting nose. What has to be considered when writing a slogan is the damage that can be caused to people and animals:

Slogans
i) We have two ears only: keep them safe, reduce noise pollution!
ii) Your music may be someone else’s noise: keep the volume down, reduce sound pollution!

Noise or sound pollution can have a very negative impact on our health. Disorders like hypertension, hearing loss, child development, psychological problems, and of course sleep disturbance are some of the most common. Children and older people are particularly susceptible to sound pollution. It can make infants cranky and irritable, and can increase dementia related problems in seniors.

Hearing loss is particularly well known. This can be caused by sound that we find pleasant, like a tendency to listen to music through headphones for long periods of time, or by interfering sounds like traffic and planes taking off. For sudden loud sounds that are brief, levels above 120db are considered harmful for children, and levels above 140 are harmful for adults.

Note: Not all noise can be considered as pollution or be harmful. According to the WHO volumes of less than 70db are not damaging even if they are consistently maintained for long periods of time, however it may be annoying.
