Hint – In this question use the basic definition of vertical circular motion that is when different points have different directions of motion, generally this direction of motion is depicted by the tangent at that point. Then use this definition along with basics of non-uniform motion to get the answer.
Complete step-by-step answer:
Vertical circular motion:
A body spins in a vertical circle in such a way that its motion at different points is different from the motion of the body being assumed to be vertical circular motion.
Consider an object of mass m, wrapped at one end in a stretchable string whirled in a vertical circle of radius r. Due to the influence of gravitational force on Earth (g = 9.8 m/${s^2}$), The object's velocity and stress vary due to earth gravity in maximum magnitude form at the lowest to the smallest at the highest location.
Hence the body's motion in the vertical circle is non-uniform, as seen in the figure.
So this is the required answer.
Note – In horizontal motion the speed and direction are unlikely to change until and unless an external force is applied onto that object, however it is not the case with vertical circular motion as the speed and direction changes continuously in vertical circular motion. Since the speed and angular velocity of motion undergoing such type of motion is not constant thus it is non-uniform in nature.
