SOF IMO Result Level 1 - Dates and Latest Updates

The SOF IMO Level 1 Result 2026-27 will be released after all three Level 1 exam dates are completed. The SOF International Mathematics Olympiad Level 1 exams are scheduled for 23 October, 26 November and 10 December 2026 for Classes 1 to 12. SOF generally declares Olympiad results around 6 to 8 weeks after the examination cycle, so the Level 1 result is expected around January 2027, subject to official confirmation.

The SOF IMO Result 2026 Level 1 will help students check their marks, section-wise performance, school and zonal ranking, international rank, and whether they have qualified for the next stage. Students from Classes 3 to 12 who meet the prescribed qualification criteria can progress to Level 2, while Classes 1 and 2 complete the Olympiad at Level 1.

SOF IMO Level 1 Cut-Off 2026-27

The Level 1 cut-off determines qualification under the top 5% route for Classes 3 to 12. SOF releases class-wise cut-offs after evaluating Level 1 performance.

Until the 2026-27 cut-off is published, students can use the previous year's cut-off only for reference.

What Is the Student Progress Report After IMO Level 1?

Every student who appears in SOF IMO receives a Student Progress Report (SPR). It helps students understand their strengths, weak areas and comparative performance across school, city, zonal and international levels.

The SPR is especially useful after Level 1 because students can use it to identify which sections need improvement before the next stage or future Olympiad attempts.

What Should Students Do After the SOF IMO Level 1 Result?

Students should first review their total marks, section-wise performance, rank and SPR. Classes 3 to 12 students who qualify should then focus on the current-class syllabus and higher-order mathematical problem solving for Level 2.

Students who do not qualify can still use the Level 1 result and SPR to understand their performance, improve weaker areas and prepare more effectively for future Olympiad exams.

SOF IMO Level 1 Awards for Classes 1 and 2

For IMO, Classes 1 and 2 complete the competition at Level 1. SOF's 2026-27 award structure provides international, zonal and school-level recognition based on Level 1 performance for these classes.

For Classes 3 to 12, final international and zonal awards are linked primarily to Level 2 performance, so detailed Level 2 awards should be covered on the dedicated Level 2 result page rather than here.

No. Classes 1 and 2 do not have a Level 2 exam. Their final ranking is based on Level 1 performance.

8. What is the SOF IMO Level 1 cut-off?

The Level 1 cut-off is the class-wise qualifying score used to identify top 5% students for Level 2. The 2026-27 cut-off will be announced only after evaluation.

9. How is rank decided if two students get the same marks?

SOF compares section-wise marks in priority order: Achievers Section, Mathematical Reasoning, Everyday Mathematics and Logical Reasoning.

10. Will the Level 1 result show whether I qualified for Level 2?

Yes. The result and qualification information will indicate whether a student has progressed to Level 2.

11. Will students receive an SPR with the Level 1 result?

Yes. SOF provides a Student Progress Report to participating students, showing detailed performance analysis and comparison across different levels.

12. Can I check the SOF IMO Result 2026 Level 1 through my school?
