Dear Angad,

I hope you are in the best of health. I am doing good and was keeping busy for quite some time. It had been a long time since I wrote to you, so thought to send you a letter.
Life these days has changed completely from the early days. The times when we used to go to school together. Those were the times !
That reminds me of how good and smooth the roads of our village used to be. How easily we would ride our bicycles. But now, the scenario has completely changed. Our bicycles have been replaced by motorcycles and the roads of the village has been replaced by the roads of these busy cities. A thing about these roads is really unfortunate. Their bad condition. Really, the roads here in this city is more of potholes. Especially in the monsoons, amid heavy rains, these roads become a path to hell. Literally I am meaning the same. The number of accidents are so high during this season. Anyways, season be what may, the authorities should do their duty responsibly. The roads in our country are a major topic of concern. The government should take severe steps to fix the same. So that nobody loses their loved ones in road accidents.
The next time we will meet, we will surely write to the authorities together. I will be home next month for the New Year. Let us meet then. It's been a long time since we spent a good time together.
