Complete answer:
Jatindranath Das, also known as Jatin Das was an Indian revolutionary who was arrested by the British on 14th June 1929. He was found guilty with the Lahore Conspiracy case. He died in prison after 63 days of hunger strike. Jatin Das was born in Calcutta. As a revolutionary, he was a member of the Anushilan Samiti which was founded by Satish Chandra Basu. This organisation supported revolutionary violence against the British. He also joined the Non-Cooperation movement which was started by Mahatma Gandhi.
While still studying at Vidyasagar College, Jatin Das was arrested for his revolutionary activities. He started a hunger strike but after 20 days the superintendent apologised to him so he withdrew the strike. After his release, he joined the Hindustan Republican Army where he learnt to make bombs. Many young revolutionaries were arrested in the Lahore Conspiracy case which was followed by the murder of police officer JP Saunders.
Note: Jatin Das started his hunger strike for 63 days.
