Basic apps on the phone help us to do daily things such as navigate, calculate complicated sums, etc. 4. They are extremely helpful in times of emergencies. The disadvantages of using a phone are 1. They can be subject to hacking, and some private information is easier to hack into. This can cause monetary problems as well as security problems. 2. Mobile phones are very expensive. A good model will cost a lot of money, as well as its upkeep. 3. The constant absorption of information can be dangerous as it shortens our attention span. 4. It can be a big distraction, especially for students. According to me, phones are extremely valuable and when one uses them in moderation, they are a boon for mankind.
   Like all objects, there are both advantages and disadvantages to this invention. However, it is up to us to be careful while using such devices.
