Also, according to our constitution, India is a Secular state, which means all the religions in India are treated equally and the state does not have an official religion. With this people of all religions feel safe and they will never feel that the government is trying to be biased towards a particular religion. People are allowed to follow, profess and propagate the religion.

Independence Day, Republic Day, and Gandhi Jayanti are celebrations that are commended by all Indians and in all parts of the nation, paying little heed to language, religion or culture.
