Hint: We used the concept of the ventilation to explain the given question that is ventilation is provided in the room to circulate the air that is the fresh air continuously entering the room and the used air continuously flowing out.
Complete step by step answer:
Ventilation is the process of supplying fresh air between the lungs and the environment presently there by inhalation and exhalation and this process removes the odors and the gases and smoke from that environment.
In the ventilation process, the movement of air is necessary, but the humidity and the temperature are maintained according to the requirement as that allows the evaporation of perspiration from the skin.
And due to poor ventilation, many problems may occur, and they can affect the body as having headaches, discomfort, lethargy. When the amount of carbon dioxide increases and the amount of oxygen decreases then the ventilation process is caused. Ventilation is an artificial method to assist breathing. And a machine is developed to move breathable air in and out of the body.
Natural ventilation depends on winds outside and convection currents inside a building. And there are three types of heat transfer. Convection is one of them and the other two are conduction and radiation. Convection can only happen in liquids and gases. In the convection, current molecules are free to move. So, the heat energy can be transferred. And there is a difference in temperature and between two parts of the fluids. Due to differences in temperature hot fluid rise and cold fluids sink and due to this, currents are created in the fluids.
Convection currents are produced by the sinking of colder and so the heavier air displaces the warmer air. The air which is exhaled becomes warmer and then goes out through the ventilator due to this pressure drops within the room. So the fresh air enters the room and this process repeats and is maintained with the room by convection currents.
Therefore, the convection current helps in the ventilation of a room.
Note:
For the proper ventilation, the houses are designed based on the air circulation such that the fresh air can enter, and the used air can be exited so that the comfortable temperature, pressure, and humidity remains in the room.
