Hint: A preposition is a word that is used to show the relation between two words. In the given sentence, we have to find out the relation between me and the month in which my uncle is meeting me.

Complete answer:
The correct answer is option b because My uncle will visit me in May is the correct sentence. "In" May means during the month of May.
Option a is wrong because "at" is usually used to show a location. Meet me at the park. I met her at the party. All of these sentences denote a place after the preposition "at".
Option c is wrong because on refers to a position that is on something. She placed the mug on the table which shows that the mug was placed on top of the table. She placed the jars on the highest shelf so her children could not reach them.
Option d is wrong because it is similar to the preposition in option c, that is, “on”. The slight difference between on and upon is that upon is usually used more for referring to abstract or intangible objects. She always looks down upon us because we do not excel in studies like she does.

Note:
Students might get confused between options c and d that is between on and upon. As already explained there is hardly any difference apart from the fact that upon is used mainly for abstract for intangible objects.
