Hint: constitution of India is the supreme law of the land. The introductory page is also known as the preamble of the constitution states that: "We the people of India solemnly resolve to constitute India into a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic, republic".

India became independent on \[15\] August\[1947\] .We chose a democratic form of government. Indian constitution is unique in itself as we have both a Prime Minister and President. Therefore, we call it a secular democratic republic. These are the reasons it called India a secular democratic republic.
Note: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was the chairman of the drafting committee. According to him, article $32$ right to constitutional remedy is the Heart and soul of the Indian constitution.
