Hint As we recall that fossil fuels are naturally formed from dead plants or from the buried organisms that can be used as a fuel are fossil fuels and we know some of them can also harm the environment.
Complete step by step answer As we know fossil fuels are biologically originated within earth’s crust that is from buried organisms or dead plants and can be used as fuels further. Fossil fuels are hydrocarbons, natural gas or fuel oil. In general we can say that fossil fuels are hydrocarbon containing natural resources that are not originated from sources of plants. And we know everything has advantages and disadvantages so for fossil fuels we know they are non renewable that is it can’t be renewed after using it once. When we burn coal it releases sulphur dioxide gas which causes breathing problems to living organisms and it also causes acid rain which destroys earth surface wherever it rains and also different skin problems to living organisms. And also burning some fossil fuels releases carbon dioxide which causes global warming and due to increase in global warming it affects ozone layer to destroy and last but not the least extraction of fossil fuels is very costly as compared to extraction of other fuels.
Note As we have seen disadvantages of fossil fuels we can’t say that we should not use them but instead it has many advantages side by side like they can generate huge amounts of electricity on a single point and are very easy to find.
