Why is the NEET 2026 Re-Exam Being Conducted?

The NEET UG 2026 re-examination is being conducted after the earlier exam held on 3 May 2026 was cancelled due to reported exam irregularities and concerns related to paper security. To maintain fairness in the medical entrance process, NTA scheduled a fresh re-exam on 21 June 2026.

Candidates who were registered for the original NEET UG 2026 exam do not need to register again. The re-exam will be held with fresh question papers, and candidates must download the latest admit card from the official NTA NEET website before appearing for the exam.

How to Prepare in the Last Days Before Re-NEET 2026

Students should focus on revision instead of starting new chapters. Biology and Inorganic Chemistry should be revised directly from the NCERT because many questions are usually based on textbook concepts.

For Physics, revise formulas, common numerical patterns, and previous year question types. In Chemistry, focus on named reactions, coordination compounds, physical chemistry formulas, and important NCERT lines.

Take at least one full mock test in the same exam timing from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. This helps improve focus, speed, and time management during the actual exam.

Students should also download the latest Re-NEET 2026 admit card, check the exam centre address, carry a valid photo ID, and reach the centre before the reporting time.
