State quota seats are reserved for MP domicile candidates, reducing the competition pool.

Based on 2024–2025 data and assuming a moderate paper difficulty:
For top government colleges (Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur), General candidates should safely target 620+.
For mid-tier/newer government colleges (Rewa, Sagar, Vidisha, Ratlam, Datia, Shahdol, Satna, Seoni, Khandwa, Shivpuri, Chhindwara), a score in the 580–610 range may be competitive.
These are approximate and can change with the difficulty level, number of applicants, and counselling trends in 2026.

The NEET MP cutoff is influenced by several factors:
Number of NEET 2026 candidates applying for MP counselling

Overall score and rank distribution in NEET 2026
Total MBBS/BDS seat matrix in MP for that year
Number of counselling rounds (Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, Stray Vacancy)
