What is the NEET 2026 Cutoff for Madhya Pradesh?

The NEET 2026 cutoff for Madhya Pradesh (MP) is the minimum rank and NEET score at which the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, grants admission to MBBS and BDS courses in government and private medical colleges across the state. The cutoff is released separately for each college, category, course, and counselling round.

The official NEET 2026 MP cutoff has not been released yet. The NEET UG 2026 exam is scheduled for May 3, 2026, and the cutoff will be published after DME MP counselling begins, expected around July–August 2026. Until then, candidates can refer to the actual 2025 and 2024 cutoff data in this article to set realistic score targets.

Madhya Pradesh has a total of 4,080 MBBS seats and 1,200 BDS seats across government and private medical and dental colleges in the state.

The NEET 2026 MP cutoff depends on the following factors:

  • Total number of NEET 2026 candidates registering for DME MP counselling

  • Difficulty level of the NEET UG 2026 question paper

  • Overall scores and rank distribution in the NEET 2026 result

  • Total MBBS and BDS seat matrix in MP for 2026

  • Number of counselling rounds conducted by DME MP and MCC

MP NEET 2026 Cutoff: Two Quota Types

The Madhya Pradesh NEET 2026 cutoff is released under two separate quotas:

1. All India Quota (AIQ): 15% Seats- The cutoff for AIQ seats is released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) after the completion of the AIQ counselling process. The AIQ cutoff is based on the All India Rank of the candidate, NEET scores, and category. AIQ seats are open to candidates from all states.

2. State Quota: 85% Seats- The cutoff for 85% state quota seats is published by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh after the conclusion of the state-level counselling. State quota seats are restricted to MP domicile candidates only.

The All India Quota NEET cutoff is usually higher than state quota since it is open to candidates from all states and fills 15% of total seats. The MP state quota cutoff is lower and only for MP domicile candidates.

NEET 2026 Qualifying Cutoff MP:  Category-wise Expected Marks and Percentile

To be eligible for MP MBBS and BDS admissions, candidates must first clear the NEET UG qualifying cutoff. The expected NEET 2026 qualifying marks, based on 2025 actual data, are:

FAQs on NEET 2026 Cutoff Madhya Pradesh: Category-wise Marks, College-wise Ranks (2025, 2024 & Expected 2026)

1. What is the NEET 2026 cutoff for Madhya Pradesh (MP)?

The NEET 2026 MP cutoff is the minimum score and rank required to secure MBBS or BDS admission in Madhya Pradesh medical and dental colleges. It will be released separately for each college, course, category, and counselling round by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh for state quota seats, and by MCC for All India Quota (AIQ) seats. The official cutoff will be announced after NEET 2026 counselling begins.

2. When will the official NEET 2026 cutoff for MP be released?

The NEET UG 2026 exam is scheduled for May 3, 2026. The MP NEET 2026 cutoff will be published after the start of DME MP counselling, which is expected around July–August 2026. Candidates can use the 2025 and 2024 actual cutoff data and 2026 expected ranks given on this page to plan their target score until official data is out.

3. How many MBBS and BDS seats are available in Madhya Pradesh through NEET 2026?

Madhya Pradesh offers approximately 4,080 MBBS seats and 1,200 BDS seats across government and private medical/dental colleges. These seats are filled through NEET UG 2026 scores under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 85% state quota.

4. What are the different quotas for NEET 2026 admissions in MP?

NEET 2026 admissions in MP are done under two main quotas:

  • 15% All India Quota (AIQ) – Conducted by MCC. Open to candidates from all states. Cutoffs are generally higher because of all-India competition.

  • 85% State Quota – Conducted by DME, Madhya Pradesh. Open only to MP domicile candidates. Cutoffs are usually lower than AIQ for the same college.

5. What is the NEET 2026 qualifying cutoff for MP candidates?

To be eligible for MP MBBS/BDS counselling, candidates must first clear the NEET UG qualifying cutoff. Based on 2025 trends, the expected NEET 2026 qualifying marks are:

13. Is the NEET 2026 MP cutoff different for AIQ and state quota?

Yes. The AIQ cutoff (15% seats) is generally higher than the state quota cutoff for the same college because:

  • AIQ is open to candidates from all over India.

  • Competition for top government colleges is much higher under AIQ.

  • State quota seats are reserved for MP domicile candidates, reducing the competition pool.

14. I am a General category candidate from MP. What NEET 2026 score should I target for a government MBBS seat?

Based on 2024–2025 data and assuming a moderate paper difficulty:

  • For top government colleges (Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur), General candidates should safely target 620+.

  • For mid-tier/newer government colleges (Rewa, Sagar, Vidisha, Ratlam, Datia, Shahdol, Satna, Seoni, Khandwa, Shivpuri, Chhindwara), a score in the 580–610 range may be competitive.

These are approximate and can change with the difficulty level, number of applicants, and counselling trends in 2026.

15. How is the NEET 2026 MP cutoff calculated?

The NEET MP cutoff is influenced by several factors:

  • Number of NEET 2026 candidates applying for MP counselling

  • Difficulty level of the NEET UG 2026 question paper

  • Overall score and rank distribution in NEET 2026

  • Total MBBS/BDS seat matrix in MP for that year

  • Number of counselling rounds (Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, Stray Vacancy)

As seats fill up in earlier rounds, subsequent rounds may see slightly lower or higher cutoffs depending on vacancies and candidate choices.

16. What is the difference between qualifying marks and admission cutoff in NEET MP?

  • Qualifying marks: Minimum score needed to pass NEET and become eligible for counselling. Same nationally across all states (category-wise).

  • Admission cutoff: The actual score/rank at which the last seat is allotted in a particular college, course, category, and quota. This varies by state, college, and year.

A candidate can clear the qualifying marks but still not get a seat in an MP government college if their rank is below the admission cutoff.
