Hint: Fundamental rights are included in the constitution of a country so that every citizen can enjoy them and no one can encroach upon them. There are 6 fundamental rights set out in Part III of the Indian Constitution from Articles 12-35.

Complete Step by Step Answer: A citizen requires facilities while living in a society for their personality development. The facilities which are provided by the State and society which are termed as ‘Rights’. So fundamental rights are those rights which are considered essential for the development of an individual’s personality and without these rights a person cannot make his life happy and prosperous.
Further. the enjoyment of these rights gives him equality of status and opportunity and protects them from any exploitation by an individual or the state. The Fundamental Rights explained in the Constitution of India are protected by the courts. The Fundamental Rights mentioned in the Constitution are:
1. All persons are equal before the law.
2. Right to freedom of speech and expression, the right to move freely and reside in any part of the country and also the right to association.
3. The Constitution prohibits human trafficking, children working under 14 years of age, and compelled labour.
4. Freedom of religion is provided to all the citizens
5. Cultural and Educational rights are given to all minorities, religious or linguistic so that they can set up their own institutions.
6. The Right to Constitutional Remedies allows citizens to move the court and can appeal to another court if they believe that any of their rights have been violated.
Freedom refers to a condition in which an individual has the right to speak, act and pursue his own happiness without any unnecessary restrictions. In addition, it also leads to an increase in productivity and a high quality of life. and harmony in society. A country must consider the rights of its citizens and also protect these rights in an order that the citizens can live their life freely without getting exploited. Thus, protection of freedom is necessary to maintain peace

Note: One needs to keep in mind that fundamental rights are totally different from fundamental duties because fundamental duties deal with the moral obligations of all citizens to uphold the unity of India. There are 11 fundamentals duties set out in Part IV-A of the Indian Constitution.
