Hint: Biographies are supposed to be 100-150 words. Convert the given prompts into longer sentences, written in the third person and elaborate on them. Mention all the points.

Complete answer:
To write a short biography, we first need to compile all of the information we need. This will help us in two ways - 1)To retain all the information and remember it and 2)To arrange it in the right order.
The question asks us to include three headings. We need to find all the information on all these three headings.
Let us make a map:
1.His parentage and education: born on 15th October 1931 at Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu - father was a boat owner and mother was a housewife - youngest of four brothers - had average grades in school but was hard-working - graduated from Madras Institute of Technology in 1960.
2.His contribution to India’s most important works: worked as a scientist - also known as ‘missile man’.
3. As a President of India - received the title ‘People’s President’ - received Bharat Ratna -did not return for a second term as President.

Now we can expand on these points.
  APJ ABDUL KALAM
The great APJ Abdul Kalam was born on 15th October 1931 in a small pilgrimage town called Rameswaram in the state of Tamil Nadu. He was born into a relatively poor family, as his father was a mere boat owner and his mother was a housewife. He was the youngest of the four siblings in his family. He was an average student with average grades in school, but he would spend hours studying and was very hard working. He eventually graduated from Madras Institute of Technology in the year of 1960. He is one of the most beloved and renowned Indian scientists. He started working as a scientist in 1969, and he earned the title ‘Missile Man’ for his groundbreaking invention of the ballistic missile. During his term as President of India, he earned the title ‘People’s President’ as he was loved by everybody. He also received the Bharat Ratna. However, he did not return for a second term as President and decided to work in academics, instead.

Note: Make sure to include all the points given and be descriptive. Do not write in the first or second person, and use only declarative sentences. You can also add some of your own points. Subject: English
