Complete answer:
According to my, boarding schools are better than day schools for the all-round education of a child so I will be writing for the statement.
Boarding schools are residential schools, that is, students admitted there stay there till their education is complete. They are allowed to visit their homes during vacation. Day schools are schools that are to be attended during the day and then the students get to go back home after school hours are over.
Boarding schools have very strict rules since they try to build the manners and etiquettes of a child since they are away from home. This is why they are not only taught various subjects but are also taught moral values, sports, manners and other recreational activities.
In most boarding schools, a very strict routine is followed which is very beneficial for the child. They are made to wake up early in the morning at around 6 AM, given breakfast, made to exercise, attend classes, play, study and go to bed. Everything is done at a particular time so that the child learns how to manage his time as well as get into a healthy daily routine.
On the other hand, in day schools, the child is confined to mostly learning various subjects such as math, English, science, etc. Since he gets limited time to spend with his friends, he chooses to miss classes and enjoy them. However, in a boarding school, the child has the whole day with his friends. So he can attend classes when it is time to do so and then play with his friends in the evening.
Since day schools mostly have provisions for academics with little attention to other activities such as games like chess, sports like karate, and gaining skills like calligraphy, the child is trained more in academics than having an all-round development.
Therefore, I strongly believe that for an all-round education of a child, a boarding school is better suited. How a child grows up to be is mainly determined by the time he spends in school and his friends, therefore, it can be said that friends influence more than parents. If a child is brought up in a strict environment from his childhood, it leads to better development of the child.
Note: Always keep the word limit of the essay in mind. Teachers do not appreciate essays that run pages after pages. While writing argumentative essays like these, always fully support the side you have chosen. Do not write positive points for the opposite side as well. Do not write the whole essay in one paragraph.
