Hint: - Remaining cloth = Total length of the cloth - Length of the cloth used.
Given data:
Total length of the cloth = 20m 5cm
Length of the cloth used = 4m 50cm
Now we know that 1m = 100cm
Therefore total length of the cloth $ = 20m5cm = 20 \times 100 + 5 = 2005cm$
Length of cloth used $ = 4m 50cm = 4 \times 100 + 50 = 450cm$
$\therefore $ Remaining cloth = Total length of the cloth - Length of the cloth used
$\therefore $ Remaining cloth = 2005 - 450 = 1555cm
$\therefore $ Remaining cloth in meter $ = \dfrac{{1555}}{{100}} = 15.55m = 15m55cm$
So, the cloth left with her $ = 15m55cm$
Therefore according to the question it is true.
Hence enter 1.
So, this is the required answer.
Note: - In such types of questions the key concept we have to remember is that always remember the conversion of unit i.e. meter to centimeter and the remaining cloth is the subtraction of the total length of the cloth and the length of cloth used, then simplify we will get the required answer.
