Hint:Here we have to use the concept of force along with laws of motion. There is one aspect of force as we push that contributes to the body weight and so there is more friction. The vertical aspect of force is against the weight of the body as we pull and there is thus less total friction. But it's easy to pull an object then drive it.
Complete step by step answer:
On a surface, we force or drag a strong object toward the tension between the subject and the surface. If the natural reaction of the surface to the object increases, the friction force increases (the constraint of maximal static friction, kinetic friction and rolling friction are all directly proportional to the normal reaction of the surface to the object). If a level field is a floor, this natural magnitude reaction is proportional to the object's weight.
The vertical portion of the pushing force works vertically downward on the body as a large object is moved on a level path, thus increasing the effective weight of the object and thereby increasing the force of friction between the object and the ground.
We see that the effective weight of the object and, as a result, the pressure between the object and the ground in the event of pulling is smaller than in the case of pressing. So, dragging a large weight is better than moving it on a flat board.
Hence, it is easier to pull a roller than to push it.
Note:In instances where the size of the object is smaller than that of the individual and this is the most general example, the reason given above is valid. The pulling or pressing force can work in a slanting direction in such a situation.
