The above diagram is of a hemisphere of radius 35 m.
We know that the Curved surface area of the hemisphere is $2\pi {r^2}$.
So, on putting the value of r = 35m (given) we get the value of radius as,
CSA = $2\pi {r^2}$=$2 \times \dfrac{{22}}{7}{(35)^2}$ Used $\pi = \dfrac{{22}}{7}$
CSA =$7700{m^2}$.
Hence, the curved surface area of the hemisphere of radius 35m is $7700{m^2}$.

Note – In this problem you need to know the formula of the curved surface area of the sphere then half of that will be the curved surface area of the hemisphere. The area of the outer surface of the hemisphere is called the curved surface area of the hemisphere.
