After reading the story ‘A Letter to God’, I got the feeling that the postmaster was a sort, liberal, supportive, genial and God-dreading man. He got a letter from Lencho which was kept in touch with God requesting 100 pesos so he could plant his fields once more. The mailman felt thoughtful towards Lencho. He imagined that he should not double-cross the confidence of Lencho, the rancher of God; despite the fact that he began chuckling seeing the letter he then, at that point changed and began to gather cash. He chose to help Lencho. He surrendered a piece of his compensation and requested that any remaining representatives help. Indeed, even companions were made to contribute to a noble cause and he figured out how to gather 70 pesos. He sent the cash to Lencho alongside an answer. He did as such to protect the man's confidence in God. This shows the postmaster was a decent man on a basic level.

Lencho is a farmer, who is the protagonist of the story, and composes a letter to God. In the letter, he looks for help from the Almighty as he finds his whole harvest yield has been obliterated by a staggering hailstorm. Despite the fact that his desires get satisfied to some extent, if not totally, he stays careless eventually.
