Hint: Basically heat transfer From a body higher temperature to a body lower temperature. This transfer of heat from one body to another body may take place by three modes i.e. conduction, convection and radiation.

Conduction: The process by which heat is transferred from the hot part to the cold part of the body through the transfer of energy from one particle to another particle of the body without the actual movement of the particles from their equilibrium positions is called conduction.
For example, the transfer of heat from one part to another part of a solid takes place through conduction. These substances are silver, copper, aluminum.
Convection: The process of heat transfer from one part of a fluid to another part by the actual movement of the particles of the fluid is called convection. Liquid and gases are heated by the process of convection.
For example: In winter, the air over the ocean is hot as compared to that on the landmass. Thus the convection of the current of air flows from landmass to the ocean in the northeast direction. These convection currents of air take up the moisture while passing over the Bay of Bengal and cause rainfall in Tamil Nadu.
Radiation: The process of the transfer of the heat from one place to another place without heating the intervening medium is called radiation.
For example, the heat from the sun reaches the earth through radiation mode. They can reflect and refract like light waves.

Among them radiation is the fastest mode of heat transfer. Convection gives information about the heat transfer between a surface and a liquid or gas in motion. As the fluid or gas travels faster, the convective heat transfers increase. Two types of convection are natural convection and forced convection. Conduction is a static process.
