Hint: An Electromagnetic Field or we can say that an EM wave or Field basically consists of two types of fields and these are Electric fields and Magnetic Fields. An Electric field is produced by stationary charges while the Magnetic field is produced by moving charges. The Force generated by an electric field by stationary charges is much stronger than the force generated by a magnetic field by moving charges.

Complete answer:
Since an electric field is created by stationary charges too but the magnetic field needs to have a moving charge to generate a magnetic field. The similarity between both the fields is that both are generated by charges in case of an electromagnetic field. The field lines from both Electric field and magnetic field they do not intersect or cross themselves or they do not cut or intersect themselves. The interesting fact is that both the fields can exist at the same time and can make an Electromagnetic field. They both have a tendency to travel even in vacuum and hence they do not need any medium for their propagation. In case of Electromagnetic Wave or field the components of both electric field and magnetic field components are perpendicular to each other.

Note:
We can say that Electric field can exist without any magnetic field but a magnetic field can not exist without any electric field because electric field is created by stationary charge sand magnetic field is created by moving charges and even moving charges have their electric field because of the charge present in it and hence a moving charge produces both electric and magnetic field.
