Chaos erupted in CBSE schools across the country on Wednesday as Class 10 and 12 practical exams scheduled for January 11th were abruptly postponed. The culprit? The yet-to-be-activated CBSE Pariksha Sangam portal, where schools upload practical assessment marks.

CBSE 12th Practical Exams 2024: Postponed Due to Closed Portal

Key Takeaways:

  • CBSE Class 10 & 12 practical exams scheduled for Jan 11th postponed due to inactive portal.

  • CBSE 10th and 12th Board Exam 2024 theory papers are scheduled to commence from February 16, 2024

  • Leading Delhi schools reschedule exams, causing confusion and stress.

  • CBSE promises portal activation in the afternoon, but doubt lingers.

  • Importance of a reliable online platform for academic processes highlighted.

Leading Delhi schools, caught off guard by the portal's inactivity, scrambled to reschedule exams, adding uncertainty and stress to students' already packed schedules. "Every day is important," stressed Mr. Singhal, a CBSE coordinator, highlighting the burden of delays on students. Several other schools across the country echoed this sentiment, with reports of similar disruptions filtering through social media and parent groups.

The CBSE, seemingly aware of the confusion, announced a late-day update promising the portal's activation later in the afternoon. However, many remain skeptical, raising concerns about potential further postponements and increased student anxiety.

The CBSE Pariksha Sangam portal is set to open this afternoon for uploading practical/internal assessment marks for class 10 and 12. While schools are exercising caution and not confirming tomorrow's date, the CBSE 10th and 12th Board Exam 2024 for theory papers is scheduled to commence on February 16, 2024. With approximately 38 lakh students worldwide registered for the exams, the board anticipates releasing results by the end of May.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available. Stay tuned for further developments.
