Following the announcement of the CBSE Class 12 results for 2024 on May 13, the number of students that have been marked for supplementary exams due to compartment status is 1,22,170. For Class 10, approximately 1,32,337 students have been identified for compartment exams. Additionally, the dates for the verification process of marks are set from May 17 to May 21, 2024.
Students who did not pass one or two subjects in their Class 10 or Class 12 exams can register for the CBSE Board Compartment Exams 2024. To participate, students must complete the required forms and pay the application fee by the deadline.
Class 10 students who failed two subjects, and Class 12 students who failed one subject.
Students who passed by replacing the sixth or seventh subject.
Class 10 and 12 students who wish to improve their performance in two and one subjects, respectively.

The CBSE Board allows students to request re-verification, obtain photocopies of answer sheets, and apply for revaluation if they are not satisfied with their marks.
The board has stated that even a decrease of one mark will be reflected, and students will need to surrender their original mark sheets for new ones to be issued if there is a change in scores.

This year's Class 12 board exams had an overall pass rate of 87.98 percent, with girls achieving 91.52 percent and boys at 85.12 percent. In Class 10, the pass rate was 93.60 percent, with girls outperforming boys by 6.40 percent. Trivandrum was the top-performing region with a pass rate of 99.75 percent.
