The ICSE Class 10 Fashion Designing Syllabus is divided into two segments- Section A: Theory and Section B: Internal Assessment.

• Elementary knowledge on the choice and use of commercial, traditional, or drafted patterns for producing simple outer clothes and undergarments

The Fashion Designing Internal Assessment segment of the Syllabus are practical-oriented assignments as prescribed by the teacher and are present the following topics-

(i) Needlework Tools and Processes:

• The use of thread, scissors, and needles

• Measuring and marking various devices

• Regular practice in multiple making seams, stitches, pleats, darts, ruffles, gathering, smocking, shirring, and more.

• Sewing zippers, buttons, eyes and hooks 

• The use of the sewing machine

(ii) The Parts of a Dress:
