About INJSO 

The Indian National Junior Science Olympiad (INJSO) is a national-level examination conducted annually by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR). 

The examination is open to students of Class 10 or below studying in Indian schools. INJSO is the first stage of the selection process for the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO). The competition aims to identify and nurture talented students in science and motivate them to pursue careers in science and research. The INJSO 2023 will be an exciting opportunity for students to showcase their knowledge, problem-solving skills, and scientific aptitude.

The eligibility criteria for INJSO 2023 are as follows:

1. Students must be Indian nationals studying in India.

4. Students must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Class IX and the current academic year up to the end of the first semester.

5. Students must not have taken any subject in Class 10 before its due time.

6. Students must not have appeared in any of the previous International Junior Science Olympiads (IJSO) or have undergone any orientation or training programme in any subject of natural science at a higher level before.
